What IS a Squidoo Lens?

Squidoo Lens is an online page that is developed using MODULES. By getting an insight to a Squiddo page, you will be able to know its functionalities, methods in which the page can assist you, ways to make an income with its uses, and techniques to promote it.

The page provides you the flexibility to choose the module that you require and delete the modules that you find irrelevant to your needs.

The style of every page depends on the CATEGORY. Based on the chosen category, you will receive a distinct page, such as Squid Who (here you can provide your description or describe another person), Squid Vids (a page that provides movie details), Squid Zippers (locality information page).

Every module is usable on every page under all the categories.

A green button (as shown here) is visible on every lens. The button reads like “Design your own page like this” or “Design a travel lens”. The button may not be green as it appears here; however, it will be clearly visible and prominent.

Once you click on this button, you can commence the process of creating the first lens.

Note: In the above, you can view the appearance of a complete browser window with Internet Explorer. In the remaining screenshots, you will be able to view only the Squidoo component. The blue bar located at the top will not be visible.
